SummaryRalph Lauren Corporation is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven individual to join the Next Generation Transformation (NGT) Team as an FP&A Manager. In this role, you will collaborate with key business partners to support the financial operations of the NGT Team, including budgeting, forecasting, financial close, and reporting. You will play a critical role in monthly financial analysis, forecasting, annual planning, and ad-hoc analysis.
Responsibilities- Provide financial support for capital and operating expenses for each of the NGT projects, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage month/quarter-end close activities, including analyzing expense activity, identifying reclassification items, collaborating with teams to gather accrual support, and creating journal entries.
- Assist in the creation of monthly/quarterly deliverables for Corporate FP&A, including P&L details and other ad-hoc requests.
- Partner with NGT project teams to identify risks, efficiencies, and opportunities through analysis, alerting management to potential exposures and recommending solutions to ensure on-budget performance.
- Assist with accounts payable (AP) and invoice management, supporting invoice research and analysis of NGT project spend.
- Compile and validate data points for Board of Directors (BOD) and regional leadership presentations.
- Support the preparation of the annual Budget and Long-Range Plan process.
- Assist in various ad-hoc analyses, report preparation, and presentations.
- Build financial reporting systems that leverage global standards for consistency and integrate systemic reporting.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in a multinational or retail environment.
- Experience with accounting for cloud computing arrangements preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion/Essbase is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior management.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Quick learner, able to understand complex relationships between variables under analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including meeting tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adjust priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
