Flex Videographer - SPV - NYC Flagship

Summary

The Flex Videographer creates professional videos with salespeople and stylists for Nordstrom.com. This as-needed role helps deliver a beneficial online customer experience by connecting customers with Nordstrom’s people, stores, and fashion expertise.

Responsibilities

• Set up camera, audio, lighting, and fixtures according to program guidelines.
• Ensure proper lighting and focus, manage audio, and audit content while filming.
• Partner with the Associate Producer to guide and coach talent on engaging content.
• Back up and upload footage for post-production after each shift.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, communicate repair needs, and assist with product preparation and shipping.
• Support crew training or onboarding as needed.

Requirements

• Five years of audio and video production experience and three years of fashion industry experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• An associate or bachelor's degree focused on audio and video production is preferred.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and make quick decisions.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
