Floor Set Associate

Summary

The Floor Set Associate executes merchandise floor sets and supports the visual integrity and maintenance of the Gallery. The role collaborates with Gallery leadership, curators and facilities to realize creative installation direction while assisting with inventory movement and signage placement. This is a part-time, in-gallery position that requires physical labor, attention to detail and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Gallery Leadership Team, Curators and Facilities leaders to execute creative vision and direction
• Execute merchandise floor sets while upholding the Gallery's visual standards
• Support signage placement, gallery maintenance, recovery and cleanliness
• Assist in movement, placement and staging of inventory
• Live and model the company's vision, values and collaborative approach on the gallery floor

Requirements

• Positive, professional attitude with excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to be flexible and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience following safety guidelines and procedures to protect self and others
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs., maneuver in gallery and stockroom spaces, and perform prolonged standing, bending, kneeling and climbing
• Basic knowledge of operating power tools or appliances
