Fulfillment Operations Manager

Summary

Leads product flow and fulfillment operations for an assigned distribution center area, coordinating order processing to meet customer requirements, service levels, and shipping deadlines. Oversees staffing, capacity, productivity, and team performance while supporting safe and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflows between Account Services, Operations, vendors, and other distribution functions to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Forecast staffing and resources, set workload priorities, and develop waving strategies based on customer needs and operational capacity.
• Monitor department performance, maintain reporting, and drive daily and long-term process improvements.
• Manage team performance and development, including coaching, training, hiring support, and corrective action as assigned.
• Promote workplace safety and ensure processes meet quality and service expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience; warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Experience leading and motivating employees and a strong understanding of warehouse or distribution center operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong planning, organization, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate changing workloads and schedules, including weekends, and travel as required.
