Gallery Host

Summary

The Gallery Host welcomes and assists guests at the Chicago gallery, delivering polished, world-class service while maintaining the appearance and safety of the space. This role manages greeting, wayfinding, check-in for interior design appointments and the restaurant waitlist, coat and umbrella check, and concierge support as needed. The Gallery Host also supports event setup and provides feedback on guest comments to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests upon arrival, providing courteous and professional service
• Manage check-in for RH Interior Design appointments and restaurant waitlist; handle coat and umbrella check
• Provide wayfinding, concierge assistance, and valet validation when required
• Set up and break down the host station; monitor gallery areas for cleanliness, safety, and code compliance
• Assist with onsite and offsite events and communicate guest feedback or escalations to leadership

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience
• Energetic, accountable, team oriented, and willing to learn
• Reliable and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
