General Manager

Summary

The General Manager leads store operations, develops talent, and delivers an exceptional customer experience while achieving sales and profit goals. This role brings the brand vision to life through strong leadership, client engagement, and high standards for store execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and profit performance, strategic initiatives, and store productivity.
• Develop the store team through recruiting, coaching, feedback, education, and training.
• Build client development strategies and lead community outreach.
• Maintain inventory controls, shrink goals, store standards, and company policies.
• Use technology and new selling approaches to improve business results.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and identify market trends and profit opportunities.

Requirements

• Retail management or similar experience in a complex, high-volume, or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
• Strong communication, business acumen, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated success building positive relationships with customers, management, and coworkers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts or travel.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting or climbing as needed.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.
