General Manager

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing leadership talent, running a profitable business, and executing strategic initiatives to deliver an exceptional customer experience and exceed financial results. You will optimize customer engagement, develop talent, and increase productivity while maintaining brand integrity standards.

• Direct responsibility for sales and profit performance, ensuring sales and margin goals are met.
• Own strategic planning and execution of company initiatives to optimize store impact.
• Create a consistent customer experience aligned with RL brand expectations.
• Shape client development strategy and lead community outreach efforts.
• Set talent strategy, build and develop a customer-focused team.
• Source, recruit, and retain high-performing talent through feedback and coaching.
• Educate and train team to build new skills and enhance capabilities.
• Maintain productivity standards through process management, including inventory and shrink goals.
• Champion new technology to support selling techniques and drive results.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to partners, identifying profit potential and business trends.
• Ensure sales floor and store standards exceed expectations.
• Create an inclusive environment aligned with Ralph Lauren values.

• College Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Retail Management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume environment preferred.
• Effective communication skills with customers and store personnel.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock/dressing room, and office.
• Ability to operate register, stand, move, and walk for multiple hours.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, and travel.
• Proven track record of success in building positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Strong planning and time management skills.
