General Manager

Summary

The General Manager leads the store to achieve sales, profit, and brand standards by developing leadership talent, executing strategic initiatives, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role focuses on optimizing customer engagement, enhancing team capabilities, improving productivity, and maintaining brand integrity across all store operations. The General Manager also shapes client development and community outreach strategies to drive business results.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profit performance to meet sales and margin goals
• Plan and execute company initiatives to optimize store impact
• Create and sustain a consistent customer experience aligned to brand expectations
• Develop and implement client development and community outreach strategies
• Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing talent
• Maintain productivity through process management, inventory control, and shrink reduction
• Promote adoption of selling technologies and new sales techniques
• Provide feedback to cross-functional partners on store trends and opportunities
• Ensure store standards and presentation consistently exceed expectations

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent preferred
• Retail management experience in a high-volume or specialty environment preferred
• Proven track record of building positive customer and team relationships
• Ability to stand, walk, operate register, and lift up to 30 lbs; perform physical store tasks
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel
• Strong business acumen, planning, and time-management skills
