Summary
Lead and manage all aspects of boutique performance including sales, merchandising, inventory control and team development to achieve sales and margin goals while maintaining brand standards. Drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence and superior customer experience in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance and accountability for the boutique and individual sales associates.
- Partner with senior management to set and achieve sales and margin goals and execute action plans.
- Develop business strategies, set targets and implement sales incentives to boost performance.
- Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained.
- Analyze sell through and communicate product availability and market trends to division heads.
- Manage shrinkage and maintain inventory accuracy through security and controls.
- Recruit, develop and lead a high performance team through training, coaching and motivation.
- Maintain operational compliance with company policies and manage operational costs and budgets.
- Foster strong client and community relationships to support business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in retail management; luxury experience preferred.
- Full understanding of specialty retail including business development, visual merchandising and store operations.
- Proficiency with retail point of sale systems, Word, Excel and email.
- Strong leadership, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client and community relationships.
