Summary
The Group Director, Top Client Development for the Northeast will lead strategy and execution for VIC and top-client engagement across key markets, based in New York City with significant in-boutique presence. This role partners with boutique teams, Client Development Managers, regional leadership, and the home office to translate market insights into tailored client programs and best-in-class luxury experiences. The position requires frequent travel across the Northeast and cross-market collaboration to deliver events, experiences, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement VIC and top-client strategies across the Northeast markets, aligning local initiatives with the US market vision.
- Serve as primary advocate for boutique needs in NYC, Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Detroit.
- Spend significant time in-boutique partnering with Client Development Managers to service and grow Top Client relationships.
- Lead cross-market planning and execution of client events, experiences, and engagement programs.
- Analyze market and client data to identify opportunities and risks, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across boutique teams, regional leadership, and home office partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in luxury retail, client development, or related strategic leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Deep familiarity with the Northeast luxury landscape and established client and market relationships.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functionally, and manage high-impact projects from conception to execution.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience translating KPIs into strategic proposals.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) and availability for some evenings and weekends; authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).
