Group Operations Manager

As a Group Operations Manager, you will drive store profitability by ensuring merchandise logistics and compliance with operational and Human Resources standards. You will work under the direction of the Assistant General Manager of Operations to support the selling process and maximize the customer shopping experience.

• Manage merchandise logistics, operational KPIs, and compliance with operational standards and processes.
• Ensure merchandise is received and processed according to continuous flow principles and that new receipts are on the floor prior to store opening.
• Oversee Jewelry and Cash Office functions, ensuring daily accountability of high-value jewelry inventory and other general office functions.
• Provide leadership to store management and associates to support the selling organization.
• Oversee Saks.com Return desk execution and maintain customer service standards.
• Develop direct reports to handle operational activities effectively.
• Ensure HR Audit components meet requirements and collaborate on onboarding new hires.
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified support candidates and resolve hourly support associate relations issues.
• Support the objective setting and performance appraisal processes for hourly support associates.

• 3-5 years of related management experience in retailing or other fast-paced service environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive solution-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• College degree preferred.
