Job Description

Summary

As an HRIS Supervisor Interim at Nordstrom in Seattle, WA, you will play a crucial role in managing a team of System Analysts to enhance HR technologies and streamline processes. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, focusing on improving employee experiences and supporting business success.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to HR systems analysts and administrators.
  • Support strategies and initiatives to enhance HR systems and processes.
  • Oversee HR system operations for accurate data processing and integration.
  • Manage system updates, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure team performance meets service level agreements.
  • Maintain and configure Workday modules.
  • Conduct audits to uphold data integrity and compliance.
  • Monitor case resolution metrics and escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to enhance employee self-service tools.
  • Facilitate communication between HR systems team and leadership.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in HRIS or HR systems roles with supervisory expertise.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of 4+ analysts.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD, Now Assist, Paradox, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Suite, and other business tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style aligned with strategic HR goals.
