Job Description

Summary

As a Handbags Sales Manager at Neiman Marcus in Tampa, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing the sales experience within the store's handbag department. You will work closely with other departments to achieve maximum sales growth and ensure a customer-oriented experience.

Responsibilities
  • Drive towards achieving maximum sales and growth in line with company vision and values.
  • Oversee merchandise presentation, returns, and communications with merchant and vendor partners.
  • Manage team execution and adjust for risks and roadblocks within the department.
  • Contribute to strategic goals and set departmental priorities.
  • Review business with Buyers and develop action plans for positive results.
  • Analyze customer behaviors and trends to adjust processes and standards.
  • Plan and manage departmental budgets to minimize expenses and maximize revenue.
  • Support audit compliance and enforce department controls.
  • Manage people, product placement, and sales promotion within the department.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant luxury retail fashion experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving results.
  • Experience in building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 10 pounds.
