Job Description

Summary

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Intern who will report to the Human Resources Coordinator as part of our dynamic team in New York. This opportunity will allow you to gain experience within a luxury brand that will support you for your next endeavor and future career. You will gain a well-rounded overview of Human Resources as a whole and learn to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support with daily coordination of recruitment efforts, including posting open positions, sourcing candidates, and facilitating meetings with hiring managers.
  • Assist with tasks in Excel & HRIS systems, including reporting, auditing, and data input.
  • Perform background and reference checks for new hires and review with HR Coordinator and HR Managers.
  • Partner with VP HR & HR Coordinator to complete special projects as needed.
  • Handle general administrative duties such as filing and resume database maintenance.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team and fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative and self-sufficiency in task performance.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of Workday preferred.
  • Availability to work 40 hours a week in the NYC corporate office.
  • Must be able to receive academic credit for this paid internship.
