Job Description

Summary

Loro Piana is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our HR team in New York. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, contributing to the growth and success of our organization. You will be involved in learning and development, HR policies, DEI initiatives, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee handbooks and policy documents.
  • Contribute to the review, development, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in DEI initiatives and projects aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Facilitate learning & development training sessions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Update HR SharePoint site content to ensure information is accurate, relevant, and easily accessible to employees.
  • Assist in the planning and organization of employee engagement and internship events.
  • Monitor the HR inbox, forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date company organization charts.
  • Support the HR team in various ad hoc projects, such as conducting research, preparing presentations, and analyzing data.
Requirements
  • Previous HR internship experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for HR and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
