In-Store Specialist - NYC Metro

Summary

The In-Store Specialist for the NYC Metro area acts as the liaison between corporate teams and store management to maximize sales across key accounts, optical stores, and department stores. This role drives in-store sales through training, merchandising, trade marketing execution, and local activation while reporting to the Retail Excellence Manager East. The position requires regular travel across the NYC metro territory and close collaboration with retail and trade marketing partners.

Responsibilities

• Execute local merchandising activities and deliver training for the assigned client portfolio
• Ensure visibility through permanent and seasonal displays, POP placement, and product merchandising
• Support Trade Marketing with POS material needs, allocation, and consumption
• Secure optimal in-store trade marketing execution and coordinate window and store setups with agencies
• Manage sellout contests, trade incentives, and consumer incentives and follow up on results
• Monitor sellout results, provide collection feedback, map competitors, and report on KPIs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience; luxury and/or eyewear experience a plus
• Understanding of the luxury fashion category and strong customer focus
• Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to drive customer experiences and measurable sales results
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to travel throughout the NYC metro area regularly and access to own car; schedule is 40 hours, Tuesday–Saturday
