Intellectual Property Assistant - Midtown

As a Seasonal Intellectual Property Assistant at Louis Vuitton in Midtown, Manhattan, you will oversee and process U.S. Customs and Border Protection matters related to Louis Vuitton Intellectual Property issues. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing Customs data to identify new trends in smuggling counterfeits into the United States, providing analytic evaluation in related intellectual property matters, and developing domestic targets and distribution networks linked to Customs seizures.

• Utilize social media and the internet for targeting research and gathering background information.
• Prepare monthly Customs statistics and author CBP Cease and Desist Notices.
• Conduct analysis of changing importation trends and review investigative reports.
• Create matrices for prioritizing and targeting properties and assist in processing evidence for criminal matters.
• Create flow charts for importation trends and PowerPoints for training law enforcement officers.
• Record visibility studies for counterfeit products and conduct statistical trend analysis for seizure reporting.
• Assist in civil matters and input data into the internal database.
• Draft legal correspondence and forward monthly reports to Paris.

• 3+ years of experience in Intellectual Property or Legal Field, preferably in the retail industry.
• Exceptional MS Office skills with strong analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated, highly driven, organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
• Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
