Summary
Support loss prevention safety and security initiatives at a supply chain facility to protect property employees and company assets. Perform security screening monitor access audit physical security systems conduct investigations and respond to incidents including alarms and accidents. Work as part of a team to reduce shrink and maintain required documentation while supporting operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with building personnel and respond to loss prevention safety and security incidents
- Monitor identification badges entry and exit for employees visitors vendors and contractors
- Conduct electronic and physical security screenings including metal detector scans and visual bag searches
- Audit and inspect physical security infrastructure and perform daily warehouse walks documenting findings
- Review camera footage investigate shrinkage and support follow up with investigators or managers
- Respond to building alarms complete initial incident and accident documentation and escalate as needed
- Support opening and closing the building and perform special projects as directed
- Maintain confidentiality and site required documentation such as reports inspection and training logs
Requirements
- High school diploma GED or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in customer facing service role ideally in loss prevention security or risk management
- Supply chain facility experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact at various levels
- Calm and effective response to safety and security issues
- Proven accountability initiative and ownership in prior roles
- Ability to work weekends and overnight shifts as necessary
