Summary

The Interim Asset Protection Coordinator supports loss prevention safety and security initiatives to safeguard company assets including property merchandise equipment and employees. This role greets and screens visitors monitors alarms logs deliveries operates metal detectors and responds to incidents with urgency and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with building personnel and visitors in a professional manner
• Serve as a liaison between arriving guests and warehouse staff including screening and confirming appointments
• Log inbound and outbound truck information and coordinate with receiving to assign doors
• Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatch
• Answer and transfer incoming calls to appropriate extensions
• Operate electronic walk through and hand held metal detectors as needed
• Respond to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security with a sense of urgency
