Interim Warehouse Ops Coordinator - Receiving Dock

The Interim Warehouse Ops Coordinator at the Northern Cal Distribution Center in Newark, CA, is responsible for supporting the flow and optimization of processes within the fulfillment or distribution center. This role involves assisting the Operations Manager with equipment and team readiness, monitoring productivity, leading safety and operational tasks, and supporting process improvements.

• Support the department in achieving business results for safety, quality, and performance.
• Create daily assignments and project actions for team members.
• Communicate department results and progress to team members and operations managers.
• Complete safety observations and model safe behavior.
• Coordinate with support teams such as safety, facilities, ICQA, and training.
• Complete daily work tasks and trackers for shift hand-offs.
• Lead start of shift meetings and update communication boards.

• 1+ years of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center.
• Proven time management skills and ability to prioritize.
• Understanding of multiple warehouse departments and processes.
• Proficiency in technical systems including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and WM systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
