Interim Warehouse Ops Coordinator - Reserve Stock

Summary

Support flow and optimization of warehouse operations within a fulfillment distribution center by assisting the Operations Manager with shift readiness, monitoring productivity and metrics, leading safety and operational tasks, and supporting process improvements and handoffs between shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support department goals for safety quality and performance while driving efficiency and flow
• Create daily assignments and project actions and reassign team members to meet priorities
• Monitor productivity and communicate hourly goals and progress to team and managers
• Lead start of shift meetings update communication boards and support end of shift duties
• Complete safety observations and model safe behavior and judgement
• Coordinate with safety facilities ICQA and training to meet business needs
• Maintain daily work trackers to ensure strong hand offs between shifts

Requirements

• 1+ years of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center
• Well developed time management skills and ability to prioritize
• Deep understanding of multiple warehouse departments processes and flow
• Maintain a sense of urgency and strong follow through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Outlook Word and warehouse management systems
• Excellent customer service orientation and team player attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
