Interior Design Assistant

Summary

Provide support across all phases of residential and commercial interior design projects, collaborating with RH Interior Design to deliver a luxury client experience. Assist with consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and deliveries while embodying the RH lifestyle and polished professionalism. Maintain strong client relationships and support gallery visual and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support consultations, site visits, and delivery coordination throughout the design process
• Produce brand appropriate presentations communicating design concepts and space planning
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service
• Assist with design development, presentations and project documentation
• Represent the brand through polished communication and professional appearance
• Support visual and quality standards within the gallery
• Qualify and educate potential design clientele on services offered
• Participate in installations and assist with mobilizing items up to 25 lbs

Requirements

• Education in Art, Architecture or Interior Design preferred
• Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and space planning programs preferred
• Strong artistic skills including hand rendering and sketching preferred
• Highly organized, collaborative and results oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel locally or out of state and licensed to drive preferred
