Interior Design Assistant - Yountville Gallery

Summary

The Interior Design Assistant supports RH Interior Design by assisting with consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery. The role helps produce brand-appropriate presentations, communicates design concepts and product selections, and provides an elevated client experience in the gallery. This position collaborates with designers and supports visual and quality standards on the gallery floor.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of the design process including client consultations, site visits, and design development
• Prepare and produce brand-appropriate presentations, space plans, and product selections
• Provide product expertise and high-touch client service to qualify and educate potential design clientele
• Represent the RH lifestyle through polished communication and professional appearance
• Assist with deliveries, installations, and maintaining visual and quality standards within the gallery

Requirements

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred
• Experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications; AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, hand-rendering and sketching skills preferred
• Licensed to drive and ability to travel locally or out of state; ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs
