Summary
The Interior Design Assistant supports key phases of design projects in collaboration with the interior design team. The role helps deliver luxury design services, build client relationships, and create functional, beautiful spaces through thoughtful presentations and product selections.
Responsibilities
- Provide a luxury client experience and explain available design services to potential clients.
- Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery.
- Create presentations that communicate design concepts, space planning, and product selections.
- Provide product expertise and elevated client service while maintaining Gallery visual and quality standards.
- Represent the lifestyle brand through polished communication, appearance, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Education in art, architecture, or interior design is preferred.
- Experience with a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail is preferred; hands-on interior installation experience is also preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, organization, collaboration, communication, and results-oriented skills.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other space-planning or rendering software skills are preferred.
- Artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching, are preferred.
- Ability to travel locally or out of state, lift and move items up to 25 pounds, and meet the physical demands of Gallery and office work.
