Interior Design Consultant

Summary

The Interior Design Consultant provides luxury service within the Gallery by assessing client needs, presenting design solutions, and qualifying prospects for interior design services. This role manages the client experience from initial contact through product delivery while building and maintaining a strong client base. The consultant collaborates with the interior design team to ensure client expectations are met and fiscal goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Provide a luxury client experience through product expertise and elevated service
• Qualify and educate potential clients on offered interior design services
• Own all phases of the client experience from initial contact through delivery
• Grow and maintain a strong client base and ensure fiscal goals are achieved
• Support visual and quality standards on the Gallery floor
• Represent the brand through professional appearance and communication

Requirements

• Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Education in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design and relevant experience preferred
• People and relationship driven with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, collaborative, strategic, and results-oriented
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs, maneuver on the Gallery floor and stock room, travel locally or out of state; valid driver's license preferred
