Interior Designer - Intermediate

Summary

RH seeks an Intermediate Interior Designer to provide luxury residential design services to walk-in clientele within an RH Gallery. The role collaborates with Lead Designers and Gallery leadership to produce brand-appropriate presentations, execute small-scale projects, and support larger projects as needed. The designer owns the client experience from consultation through delivery and site visits and helps achieve fiscal and visual standards for the gallery.

Responsibilities

• Provide a luxury experience for clientele through RH interior design services
• Execute RH design ethos including space planning, product selections, and design presentations
• Own phases of client engagement from consultations to delivery and site visits
• Support large-scale projects in partnership with the Interior Design team
• Produce brand-appropriate presentations and communicate design concepts clearly
• Maintain gallery visual and quality standards and support fiscal goals

Requirements

• 2+ years design experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Art, Architecture, Interior Design or similar degree preferred and professional portfolio required
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and other space planning/rendering programs preferred
• Hands-on interior installation and hand rendering/sketching skills preferred
• Strong organizational, communication and client-facing skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications; licensed to drive and ability to travel locally or out of state preferred
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs and perform prolonged standing, bending and other physical tasks
