Interior Design Consultant

Summary

Design Consultants provide a luxury gallery experience by advising walk-in and prospective clients on furniture and interior solutions. They collaborate with the interior design team to manage the client relationship from initial contact through product delivery, build and maintain a strong client base, and contribute to achieving gallery fiscal goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated, client-focused service and product expertise on the gallery floor
• Qualify and educate potential clients on interior design services and offerings
• Own all phases of the client experience from initial contact through delivery
• Grow and maintain a personal client base and support gallery sales targets
• Support visual and quality standards and collaborate with internal design teams

Requirements

• Experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Background in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred
• Strong relationship skills, highly organized, and results oriented
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications
• Ability to lift/mobilize items up to 25 lbs., maneuver on gallery floor, and travel as needed; licensed to drive preferred
