Interior Designer - Advanced

Summary

Experienced interior designer responsible for providing residential design services to walk in clients within an RH Gallery. The role requires creating original designs using RH's design point of view, leading multiple projects, and developing a thriving in gallery design business. Designers meet with clients in gallery and in home and oversee projects from initial contact through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create original residential interior designs using RH design point of view
• Determine design objectives considering architecture, environment, and client lifestyle
• Use floor plans, sketches, and visual presentations to illustrate design solutions
• Meet with clients in gallery and in home and manage client interactions
• Lead and manage multiple design projects of various sizes
• Ensure fiscal goals are achieved through design projects and consulting
• Oversee all phases of the client experience from initial contact through delivery

Requirements

• 5+ years design experience in a design firm or high end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Art, Architecture, Interior Design, or similar degree preferred and professional portfolio required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, space planning and rendering programs
• Strong graphic and digital presentation skills; hand rendering preferred
• Leadership or business experience and successful project management preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications
• Licensed to drive and ability to travel locally or out of state preferred
• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs and perform prolonged standing and other physical tasks
