Summary
RH Interior Designers provide residential design services to walk-in clients in an RH Gallery. They develop original designs and manage projects through the client experience, from initial contact to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Create residential interior designs informed by RH's design point of view and assortment.
- Assess client needs, space, architecture, environment, and lifestyle to establish design objectives.
- Present concepts using floor plans, sketches, and visual presentations.
- Meet with clients in the gallery and in their homes, and lead multiple design projects.
- Achieve fiscal goals and oversee all phases of the client experience.
- Support, teach, and model daily client interactions and design practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail environment preferred.
- Degree in art, architecture, interior design, or a similar field preferred; professional portfolio required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, space-planning and rendering software, and digital presentation tools.
- Strong artistic, project management, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of design trends and proficiency with Mac, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- Ability to travel locally or out of state and lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
