Interior Designer - Advanced

Summary

Provide interior design services to walk-in clientele within an RH Gallery, creating original residential interiors that reflect the RH point of view. Lead multiple design projects from initial contact through delivery, working with clients both in-gallery and in-home while driving gallery design consulting and fiscal goals. Serve as a design leader who mentors others and supports daily client interactions with polished presentation skills and strong taste.

Responsibilities

• Independently create original residential designs using RH design principles and product knowledge
• Determine design objectives based on architecture, environment, and client lifestyle
• Prepare floor plans, sketches and visual presentations to illustrate design concepts
• Meet with clients in gallery and in-home and manage all phases of the client experience
• Lead and oversee multiple design projects of varying scope and ensure fiscal goals are met
• Teach and support daily client interactions and execution of the RH design point of view

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Art, Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred and professional portfolio required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and other space planning/rendering programs
• Hands-on interior installation experience, strong hand rendering/sketching and graphic presentation skills preferred
• Results-driven with leadership or business experience, successful project management and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications; licensed to drive and ability to travel locally or out of state
