Interior Designer - Advanced

Summary

The Interior Designer provides residential design services to clients through an RH Gallery. This role develops original designs, manages projects throughout the client experience, and supports the growth of the Gallery's design business.

Responsibilities

• Create residential interior designs tailored to client objectives, architecture, environment, and lifestyle.
• Present design concepts through floor plans, sketches, and visual presentations.
• Meet with clients in the Gallery and in their homes, and lead multiple design projects through delivery.
• Achieve fiscal goals and model, teach, and support the RH approach to client interactions and design.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail environment preferred.
• Professional portfolio required; a degree in art, architecture, interior design, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, space planning, rendering, and digital presentation tools.
• Strong artistic, project management, leadership, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to travel locally or out of state, and to lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
