Summary
Seasoned interior designer responsible for providing luxury residential design services within an RH Gallery, creating original designs, leading projects and driving gallery design consulting to achieve fiscal goals. The role requires strong presentation skills, design leadership, and the ability to manage client relationships from initial contact through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Independently create original residential interior designs using RH design point of view
- Determine design objectives considering architecture environment and client lifestyle
- Use floor plans sketches and visual presentations to illustrate design concepts
- Meet with clients in gallery and in home and oversee client experience
- Lead multiple design projects of various sizes and ensure fiscal goals are met
- Master execute teach and support daily client interactions
- Oversee all phases of projects from initial contact through delivery
- Support and retain talented individuals who uphold professional standards
Requirements
- 5+ years design experience within a design firm or high-end furniture or luxury retail preferred
- Art Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred and professional portfolio required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite and space planning and rendering programs
- Strong graphic digital presentation skills and hand rendering sketching capabilities preferred
- Hands-on interior installation and project management experience preferred
- Leadership or business experience with ability to motivate influence and inspire a team
- Proficiency with Mac Microsoft Office and Google Applications
- Ability to travel locally or out of state and lift up to 25 lbs while using proper equipment
