Internship within Human Resources focused on supporting internal communications for the Americas zone from the New York City office. The role involves creating written and visual content, assisting with campaigns and events, and collaborating across corporate departments and regional teams to support employee engagement and communications initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Draft and edit clear written communications including updates newsletters and employee highlights.
- Support planning and execution of communications plans for intranet newsletters and other channels.
- Create and edit basic graphic and video assets for invitations recaps and communication materials.
- Maintain communication documentation templates aligned with the internal graphic charter.
- Coordinate with vendors for event logistics and communication needs.
- Support employee engagement programs including town halls happy hours and other events.
- Research trends and best practices to inform internal communications strategy.
- Contribute creative ideas and support ad hoc projects for the Internal Communications team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in communications marketing human resources or related field.
- Exceptional writing proofreading and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills such as Adobe Canva or Final Cut.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with internal communications platforms.
- Able and willing to work in New York City on a full time or part time basis for up to 6 months.
- Creative mindset and eagerness to learn new communication technologies and trends.
