  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, metrics, and reconciliations to identify trends, variances, and opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and control effectiveness.
  • Identify and escalate risks impacting inventory accuracy, discrepancies, inventory loss, and internal control compliance.

Inventory Reconciliation, Audit & Discrepancy Resolution

  • Own the end-to-end reconciliation of inventory balances between internal systems and system-reported inventory.
  • Prepare reconciliation outputs supporting financial reporting and audit validation, ensuring results are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
  • Consolidate discrepancy findings and validate inventory impacts, leveraging root cause analyses provided by the Retail Operations team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies involving intercompany trading partners.
  • Drive the timely resolution and closure of discrepancies, developing variance explanations and adjustment recommendations for Management review.

Inventory Control Enhancement & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Identify control gaps and transaction integrity risks impacting virtual vendor inventory.
  • Translate reconciliation findings into targeted inventory control enhancements that reduce discrepancy risk and strengthen transaction integrity.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional processes (Planning, Operations, Product Development, IT, etc.) that drive inventory transactions, ensuring control alignment across all inputs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Planning, and Operations to embed control requirements and improve end-to-end transaction flow.
