Inventory Control Temp (Returns)

Summary

Responsible for processing jewelry and timepiece returns across retail, wholesale, ecommerce and consignment channels. Accurately receive, verify and document returned merchandise, managing discrepancies and priority requests using Oracle and Salesforce. This temporary, on-site role requires organizing, tagging and sorting inbound returns while working closely with supervisors to meet daily priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process receipts for Retail, Wholesale, Ecommerce returns and consignment merchandise.
• Verify receipts, identify discrepancies and confirm all items received against paperwork.
• Record and track priority returns through Oracle and Salesforce.
• Properly identify, tag and sort returned merchandise and separate inbound packaging.
• Open packaging and verify contents against packing slips in an organized manner.
• Maintain a neat work area and organize paperwork and files.
• Communicate updates, concerns and issues to supervisor and manager and accept direction on priorities.
• Recommend improvements to returns processes as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years related work experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle or Salesforce a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Ability to perform under deadlines and manage changing priorities.
• Reliable, self-starting and dependable with good common sense.
