Restore, refine, and preserve fine jewelry for client-owned pieces and company inventory. Perform precise repairs and finishing while upholding exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and handling standards. Collaborate with Aftersales, Quality, and Boutique teams to support an elevated client experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform jewelry alterations and repairs, including polishing, refinishing, rhodium plating, chain sizing, clasp replacement, post adjustments, ring sizing, and mechanical engraving.
- Inspect pieces for risks, defects, and authenticity concerns, and report findings to supervisors and management.
- Maintain repair tools, polishing equipment, workstations, inventory, and repair materials.
- Follow safety, quality, confidentiality, and high-value item handling procedures.
- Log repairs accurately, track progress, and meet turnaround timelines.
- Collaborate with repair, quality control, and management teams and participate in technical training.
Requirements
- Three to five years of professional jewelry polishing and repair experience, preferably in luxury or high-end craftsmanship.
- Expertise in precious metals, polishing equipment, laser welding, and complex, high-value pieces.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, visual acuity, and commitment to craftsmanship.
- Clear communication, collaboration, discretion, and accountability.
- Computer literacy for repair tracking and claims management.
- Ability to work in person five days per week, stand, and lift up to 20 pounds.
