Summary

Provide exceptional customer service at point of sale for jewelry and watch repair and fine jewelry operations. Assist customers over the phone and at checkout, support order fulfillment and pick-up, and maintain a well presented sales area while staying informed on product trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases, returns and repair transactions at checkout and by phone
• Prioritize multiple customer requests in a fast paced environment
• Maintain the department presentation by straightening, light cleaning and restocking
• Support order fulfillment and order pick up processes as needed
• Build customer relationships by informing about events, gift cards and rewards
• Use computer systems to process transactions and learn new applications
• Handle merchandise including lifting and moving items up to stated limits

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to follow through
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems quickly
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Capable of continuous movement and frequent bending and reaching for 6 to 8 hours
• Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
