Summary
Temporary role supporting translation and localization of internal communications, educational materials, and field-facing content from English to Parisian French. Based at headquarters with in-office presence Tuesday through Friday, the associate ensures accuracy, tone, and brand consistency across translated materials while collaborating with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Translate and edit field facing content in multiple media formats from English to French ensuring accuracy and brand alignment
- Write proofread and edit translations to preserve readability tone and style
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements address feedback and meet project timelines
- Identify needs for localized language resources and lead their design development and implementation
- Participate in translation verification activities including user acceptance testing to review system content
- Utilize approved translation tools glossaries and CAT software to support efficiency and quality control
- Maintain organized records of translated materials and version updates for accessibility and documentation
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in communications operations project coordination or related field
- Fluency in Parisian French with strong reading writing speaking and editing skills
- Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading skills for grammar style and tone
- Effective communicator with strong time management and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proactive problem solver who takes initiative and seeks guidance appropriately
- Proficiency in Mac OS Microsoft Office Google Suite and Canva familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Familiarity with translation tools glossaries and computer assisted translation software
