Summary
Lead construction efforts for gallery development with a focus on food and beverage projects, managing preconstruction and construction phases to deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate construction efforts and resolve conflicts before they impact projects
- Lead F&B project team and collaborate with overall project stakeholders
- Develop scope of work, phasing plans, schedules, and bid processes during preconstruction
- Manage submittals and participate in constructability and value engineering reviews
- Coordinate on-site construction activities including workers, materials, and equipment
- Ensure project quality and compliance with plans, specifications, and sanitary design
- Maintain safety through inspections and compliance with OSHA regulations
- Organize final inspections, develop and complete punch lists, and assist closeout documentation
- Participate in project meetings as leader, facilitator, or key contributor
Requirements
- Five or more years experience in construction with F&B construction management experience
- Strong analytical problem solving and leadership skills
- Current knowledge of the hospitality industry and restaurant opening processes
- Familiarity with health inspections, liquor license inspections, and coffee espresso systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel and adapt to changing priorities
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency and team orientation
