Leader, Home Delivery

Summary

The Leader, Home Delivery oversees warehouse and home delivery operations, guiding teams and vendors to deliver a high-quality customer experience. This role manages operational performance, financial accountability, and continuous improvement across delivery functions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily workflows and deliverables across warehouse and home delivery functions.
• Coach, train, mentor, and develop direct reports, including managing employee performance.
• Manage P&L responsibilities, analysis, and reporting.
• Monitor third-party delivery and logistics vendors against cost, service, and quality metrics.
• Drive compliance and continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Resolve escalated customer service issues and visit clients within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in furniture home delivery, warehouse operations, or a similar field, including experience leading third-party carriers.
• Knowledge of profit and loss, profit margins, accounting, and related business processes.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Computer literacy, including daily use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and pass background, motor vehicle record, and drug screenings.
