Summary
The Leader, Hospitality Events supports private event planning, coordination, and execution at a San Francisco design gallery. This guest-facing role guides clients through the event process and partners with Culinary, Service, and Gallery teams to create polished, memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage event inquiries, bookings, client communication, and event logistics, including menus, floor plans, vendors, timelines, and run-of-show details.
- Coordinate with internal teams and oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to meet service and brand standards.
- Maintain event calendars, contracts, event orders, financial paperwork, and post-event reports.
- Generate leads, build client relationships, encourage repeat business, and track event revenue in support of operational and financial goals.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in private event sales and execution, ideally in luxury hospitality or fine dining.
- Demonstrated ability to execute elevated events and build strong client relationships.
- Strong organizational, planning, communication, and guest service skills, with knowledge of the local market.
- Experience with event management platforms such as Tripleseat is preferred; proficiency with Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Suite applications is expected.
- Ability to support physical event setup and operations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and moving for extended periods, and working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
