Leader, Procurement And Purchasing

Summary

The Leader, Procurement and Purchasing will own end-to-end procurement for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) across Gallery developments, managing projects from design handoff through installation and turnover. This role partners with cross-functional teams to define specifications, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality and cost objectives. The position requires strong project management, vendor management, and process improvement skills to optimize procurement workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement of FF&E for new construction and remodel projects.
• Partner with Visual Creative and Architecture teams to define needs, budgets, specifications, and timelines.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and purchase order agreements with vendors.
• Manage vendor relationships across product development, quality control, production, logistics, and installation.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, tracking shop drawings, samples, submittals, and lead times.
• Oversee on-order pipelines and ensure alignment with project milestones; maintain status boards on Monday.com.
• Develop responsibility matrices and drive accountability across project lifecycles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience; retail and hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships and manage vendor performance.
• Experience implementing procurement technologies and streamlining processes.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours; ability to move and lift items up to 50 lbs as required.
