Summary

The Licensed Optician delivers exceptional client service and supports the store in meeting sales and optical quality standards. This role guides customers in selecting frames and lenses, performs precise measurements and fittings, and helps build and maintain a strong client following.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of sales and personalized client service to meet and exceed targets
• Guide customers on frame and lens selection tailored to lifestyle, prescription, and price
• Take and record accurate measurements; adjust and fit eyewear ensuring flawless finished products
• Maintain store presentation and inventory controls; support set-up and execution of events
• Train and mentor managers and associates and support optical quality control compliance

Requirements

• High school diploma
• State licensure or certification as an optician
• 2+ years sales experience in the luxury service industry
• Knowledge of optical theory and practices; strong measurement and fitting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, polished appearance, and computer proficiency
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
