Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Logistics Specialist to manage inventory, distribution, international inbound controls, and support cross functional teams including wholesale, e commerce, and customer service. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, data analysis, cost saving initiatives, and requires collaboration across departments. SAP or similar ERP experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and accuracy within the warehouse ensuring timely updates and stock tracking.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure efficient distribution processes.
- Coordinate and monitor international inbound shipments ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Use EDI to track inventory movements and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Partner with the wholesale team to manage inventory distribution and fulfillment.
- Support e commerce and customer service teams to streamline order fulfillment.
- Handle returns across e commerce retail and wholesale channels to minimize losses.
- Generate and analyze logistics data reports to identify trends and monitor performance.
- Conduct cost saving analyses and manage drop shipments for department store orders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics supply chain management or a related field.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross functional work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with EDI and international shipment processes.
