Loss Prevention Investigator

Summary

Work as a member of the store Loss Prevention team to prevent losses from internal and external theft and fraud. Perform on-site monitoring, investigations, and reporting while supporting store operations and maintaining safety for customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general safety of customers employees and the store
• Assess and assist in emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance to identify theft and fraud indicators
• Conduct external and internal investigations and document incidents
• Prepare reports on theft incidents merchandise recoveries accident investigations and audits
• Reduce and control inventory loss through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs

Requirements

• Experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection
• Customer focused mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer software proficiency
• Investigative and conflict management skills
• Ability to respond to changing directions or unexpected situations
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
