Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor at Oakley, you will coordinate the daily activities of Tech Support technicians, ensuring the maintenance, repair, and installation of all production-related equipment. You will supervise a multifunctional team of craftsmen, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation tasks to maintain operational excellence.

• Oversee and direct team members to achieve production priorities safely and productively.
• Monitor work areas to enforce safety and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise team members, including training, development, and performance evaluation.
• Align with Production Supervisors and Tech Support Leads to prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Provide input to improve Preventive Maintenance task lists and develop planned work.
• Review maintenance plans and align with the Production team to achieve goals.
• Perform quality audits on technician's work and escalate major breakdowns.
• Review reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate equipment operations to new employees or assign training.
• Suggest methods to improve operations, processes, and service levels.
• Foster effective interdepartmental communication and teamwork.

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a technical or maintenance manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in a leadership capacity with over 10 direct reports.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Motivated, self-starter with analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and handle multiple projects.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Experience with Injection Molding, Thin Film Coating, and Robotics preferred.
• Total Productive Maintenance and Lean Six Sigma training preferred.
