Responsibilities- Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to store operations.
- Operate and monitor building controls and systems.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as loading and unloading materials.
- Assist with administrative tasks like parts ordering and vendor management.
- Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
- Act as a representative of the facilities business in meetings.
- Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
- Assist in technical training of new employees.
- Respond to location emergencies.
- Update the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Communicate and coordinate work with contractors and vendors.
Requirements- High School Diploma/GED; vocational degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
- Experience in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with CMMS and ordering systems.
- Knowledge of computer networking systems and infrastructure.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
