Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on automated production systems, emphasizing Allen Bradley PLC systems and industrial controls.
- Identify and implement equipment improvements to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose motors, controls, distribution systems, and Allen Bradley PLC systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Hytrol and Intelligrated conveyors, automated packing and labeling equipment, and sortation equipment.
- Support building maintenance repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC as needed.
- Track maintenance work orders, inventory, purchase orders, and facility inspections.
- Assist in training and development of the maintenance team.
- Ensure reliability in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.
- Be available for weekend and after-hours call-ins.
- Support and monitor all safety requirements and expectations.
- Maintain adherence to company policies.
Requirements- 2-year technical or trade school education or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and maintenance procedures, including mechanical, logic, and fluid power diagrams.
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems.
- Familiarity with procedures and standards, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, MSDS, PPE, and OSHA standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems using root cause analysis.
- Use of repetitive motion of hands and wrists as necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
