Maintenance Technician I - Easton Town Center

Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician I helps maintain a safe, well-kept environment across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack locations. Under close supervision, this role performs preventive maintenance, supports building system inspections, and assists with basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance, service requests, inspections, and building rounds; maintain accurate records.
• Assist with troubleshooting and basic repairs to plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofs, drains, equipment, and other building systems.
• Move materials, respond to emergencies, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Follow safety procedures, applicable codes, and company requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience or training.
• Basic working knowledge of trade skills and mechanical systems; entry-level proficiency with power tools and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, communicate effectively, use a work order system and basic Microsoft Office programs, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and off-hours; ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physical tasks including climbing, stooping, and standing.
