Job Description

Join a renowned Italian heritage fashion house distinguished by impeccable craftsmanship, understated elegance, and timeless designs. Our men's and women's corners at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street reflect the brand’s commitment to refined style and exceptional quality.

We are seeking a highly motivated Concession Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and uphold the brand’s prestigious image within the Bloomingdale’s 59th Street store. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a passion for luxury retail, adept at managing a small team of union employees, and committed to delivering an unparalleled customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Store Leadership & Operations
  • Manage all aspects of the concession, including sales performance, visual merchandising, and day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Bloomingdale’s policies, procedures, and union guidelines.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention strategies.
Team Management
  • Directly supervise three union employees (one dedicated to the men’s collection, one sales associate for women’s, and one stockroom associate).
  • Set clear performance goals, provide coaching and guidance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth.
Sales & Customer Experience
  • Drive sales initiatives to meet and exceed assigned targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, sharing brand knowledge and styling tips to cultivate long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Bloomingdale’s team on in-store events, product launches, and cross-promotional opportunities.
Visual Merchandising
  • Maintain brand standards for visual presentation, ensuring both men’s and women’s areas reflect the aesthetic and seasonal themes.
  • Regularly update displays to feature new arrivals, key stories, and best-sellers.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance; analyze trends to optimize product assortment and highlight best practices.
  • Provide regular feedback and updates to both corporate and Bloomingdale’s management, identifying opportunities and action plans for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Retail Management Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, ideally in luxury fashion or department store settings.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams; experience managing union employees is highly desirable.
  • Sales & Customer Service Expertise: Strong track record in driving sales, achieving targets, and delivering an elevated customer experience.
  • Operational Excellence: Competency in inventory management, loss prevention, and operational best practices.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to interact and collaborate with diverse teams, including corporate, union representatives, and Bloomingdale’s leadership.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
